On The Boards:
Our La Jolla Shores cabaña is based on the golden section
to compliment a human scale and the continuity of forms
found in nature. The structure is built with a series of pulleys
and trolleys that allow the building to morph with the setting sun
and the changing seasons. On calm days the cabaña opens up
to allow the ocean breeze to flow through and closes up on windy,
rainy days to protect from harsher conditions.
